My Abraham Alaska Cruising Adventures:
I’m all packed and fly through check-in with my tiara lighting the way. “Ooh” and “ahh” at the beauty of my stateroom, drop my bags on the bed, take a bite of a chocolate dipped strawberry, and step out onto the balcony to drink in the view. Waving, jumping, and squealing as I connect with my friends who are walking up the ramp to board the Celebrity. Squealing with delight in the Vortex is the best!
Later that night everywhere you walk on the ship is filled with music, smiles, and laughter. I am feeling hot and sassy in my shoes that have been dubbed “The Glaciers” (pronounced with an Australian accent sounds like glay-sea-ers ). I smell the aroma of “wild” wafting through the air and take in a deep breath, relaxing into the perfection of the unexpected. The beautiful flow of electricity courses through me which equals a guaranteed epic night on an Abraham cruise ship. I slip from one beautiful encounter with an exquisite Being, to another magical Being, to another fantastic encounter, just as easily as I slipped on my black and silver satin dress. No matter whether I am connecting with an Aber, staff, or a non-Aber guest it doesn’t matter they are all beautiful rendezvous.
I am drawn in by a DJ duo that also drum and sing to their music and feel my body being hypnotized by the power of the beat. “Moves Like Jagger” comes on and my hips are under a spell immediately. My love for dancing is heightened by the environment, my comrades, and the intention for my life getting better and better. The lights are flashing, my bling is sparkling, my tropical drinks are delicious, and I am eager for more, more, more. Then my friend Rie gives me a squeeze and says, “are you ready?” and glances at the elevator. “Why of course” I whisper and we giddily dance toward and onto a glass elevator. As we begin to ascend, the music is thumping through the glass, our friends are looking, pointing, smiling, taking pictures, laughing, and we feel like we are taking the party with us up to the top deck. Folks who are in the elevator with us start dancing too and we feel magnetic. Then we switch to another elevator and descend right into the gathering again laughing hysterically and feeling like teenagers! What fun! What grand self expression! What’s next? I can’t wait!
