Alrighty folks (both physical & non-physical) my stream is movin’ fast! I am feeling juiced up about the blog and how it is expanding. I felt inspired to go to a particular Meetup tonight called “I’ve Started a Blog…Now What?” and it was the perfect next illuminated step on this path of blogging. (This Meetup was hosted by the Seattle WordPress Meetup)
Book of Positive Aspects about Google:
This Meetup was held in the Google building in Fremont. Just being there made me feel like I was absorbing some of the leading edge futuristic techy energy. Some of the cubicles had dog fences, because you could bring your dog to work with you. They had water bottles available for free in a fridge in the conference room. They actually had comfortable conference chairs (what a concept) that had the perfect blending of flexible and yet supportive. They had not one, but 2 pull down screens to look at so both sides of the room could see really well. The speaker could be 5 feet from the mic and you could still hear them… what???? – frickin’ unheard of (pun intended)! Then when I went to the bathroom they had a cabinet of toiletries and feminine products available. They even had a ginormous bottle of Listerine… who does that??? Their building is also right in the hub bub of Fremont, which is one of the coolest Seattle neighborhoods ever. I swear that I am smarter just for walking into the building and must be a genius now that I was marinating for an hr and a half in the juices of Google!
Book of Positive Aspects regarding Highflying Speaker:
Kimberly Gauthier, the Meetup speaker was fantastic and has written a kindle book, Standing Out in a Popular Blogging Niche, and has a successful blog, Keep The Tail Wagging. She had such a great vibe about her, very spunky, bubbly, informative, and a beautiful person – you could just tell! It was so obvious that she is passionate about both her dogs, her blog topics, and just blogging in general and a passionate person is my kind of person. I also really appreciated her no beatin’ ‘round the bush opinions about different products and methods. Some of the highlights for me were when she said she doesn’t use tags with her blog posts… hallelujah!!! I was so relieved to hear that and I agreed with her reasoning completely. She also suggested not using the Facebook page promotion feature, unless you can get some guidance from a Facebook master that can help you hone in on how to use it effectively. I really appreciated this as it saved me a lot of time and resources. Listening to her made me realize that my Inner Guidance knew exactly where I was supposed to be. It was a perfect match to where I am right now in my journey and gave me a lot to ponder and implement. I felt really proud that I wasn’t clueless and that I actually was following her and knew what she was talking about! On 1/1/15 I could not have said that, so I have come a long way in just 35 days! Wahoo!!!
Lovely interactions mingled with exactly what I needed to hear to continue building my blogging momentum. More please!! More fun!!! More perfect resources!! More perfect timing!!! More perfect unfolding!!! More perfect rendezvous!!! More financial abundance!!! BooYa! Where will my illuminated path take me next?
