Special Collection: Virtual Reality Game Focusing on Prosperity #3
Anya knocks on the door to my dance studio and then steps in. “Anybody here?” she says. I come from the kitchen and say, “I’m right here, I was just grabbing some water for us.” I am wearing my comfy dance clothes and ready to dance my heart out. I have been taking private Samba dance instruction from Anya for 3 years now and I am about to perform in another show. “I wanted to fine tune the choreography with you one last time before Friday, so thank you for coming by,” I say. She says, “no problem, it is my pleasure, and it worked perfect in my schedule. You are going to rock this as usual.”
We put our things down, turn on the surround sound speaker system, and start warming up. I am so glad that we decided to build the dance studio with a south facing window so that we have natural light streaming in. As we do some stretching on the floor I am admiring the smooth sprung floor that we put in covered with Marley. It feels like dancing on clouds. As we finish up warming our bodies, we put on our dancing heels for some of the fancy footwork, I love how my energy instantly feels sassy! I start the routine and move through it with ease, each step falls out of me like a waterfall, carrying me forward. I feel so abundant and blessed to have my own talented teacher to spend quality time with me. She shares a few pointers and then I go through the routine again several times. Each time I feel more confident. Then, she comes over and starts dancing beside me and she says, “you got it girl, let’s dance!” I just release, let go, and feel so free allowing my body to flow through each movement with such grace. I feel my heart expanding. I can do anything. I can be anything. I can experience anything. I can create anything. I am invincible. I look in the mirror and see my reflection. I have a saucy smile on my face. I feel proud of who I am and how I have sculpted my body and my life exactly in the way that is pleasing to me. As we dance together we keep laughing playfully like school girls who just got away with something they shouldn’t have done.
As I am dancing I remember that I get to wear my new Samba outfit again, that we had custom ordered from a famous designer in Brazil. The colors are exactly what I wanted and it fits like a glove on my body and with my Spirit. I feel alive when I am dancing. Wearing that costume also transports me to Rio every time. It reminds me of time in Brazil when my family rented a house overlooking the ocean for a couple of months and I took a special dance class. What fun we all had and what wonderful new friends we met. I am eager to go back this next year to take some advanced classes, sculpting my body and Spirit even more. I am satisfied and eager for more!
