My BH (Beloved Husband) and I worked on fixing up the bathroom this past weekend by adding in a toilet paper holder, hand towel holder, and kid potty seat holder and let me tell you it feels fantastic! There is this wonderful feeling of relief that washes over me now as I sit down to use the commode or “comfort station”. The appreciation for my BH for installing this seemingly simple thing is monumental. I love appreciating these easy things that bring sooooo much relief. I love lingering with that feeling of joy as I easily and effortlessly lean over to grab a few squares of that soft white Ultra Soft Charmin. Abraham encourages appreciating the 1 AWESOME thing that I like and want more of, instead of focusing on the 99 things that are not to my liking. Versus focusing on/complaining about the 1 YUCKY thing in a sea of 99 things that are working. I really resonate with this philosophy and think of it often, as I can sometimes be a bit (don’t laugh friends) of a perfectionist. I am sure we all have things like a toilet paper roll holder that are in our lives that when they do happen fill us with delight and sometimes even elation. For me that TP holder is now a touchstone of luxury and ease and I will probably think of it often as it automatically puts me in a great mood on my highflying throne!
