Report from the field: A subtle yet profound change in tactical habit has resulted in nearly effortless success in nearly every arena. Wherever there is desire I am replacing it with preference. Desire contains yearning – a wanting of approval, or of control, or of security – which arises from a fear of not having approval, or not having control, or not having security. Rooting out these desires, and replacing them with corresponding preferences releases the fears. The fears provide the resistance, keeping attention from the present moment. Keeping full attention on the present moment allows for flow, flow like a current of electricity or water or money, but more than that – a flow of LIFE. Serve the moment and LIVE. Fully surrender with devotion your attention to the present moment, dare to boldly climb up inside the present moment, be intimate only with the present moment, and allow yourself to stumble into your preferences only by happy surprise.
